A CD-ROM program designed to develop early reading and writing skills of special children

option of choosing an animal to go with a predefined sentence (e.g. "I like the ..."). The child is then asked to click on the words of the sentence as they are asked for.
options of writing sentences from a simple selection of words. These can then be jumbled up and the child asked to recreate the sentence by clicking on the words as they are asked for
Sentences can be printed with animal illustrations.

The program provides uncluttered screens, uses large screen fonts, and rewards success at every stage.

Note: This program uses New Zealand accents and spellings.

Minimum Requirements:
Pentium processor, 32 MB RAM, 8x speed CD-ROM, 16 bit sound card. 20 MB of disk space. However these are bare minimum requirements and will probably limit the functionality of Kevin Goes to the Zoo.
Graphics requirements: A graphics card that can display 32 bit colour (true colour) or higher. All modern graphics cards are capable of this colour depth.
The program requires Microsoft Windows 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP. This version does not support Windows Vista. We expect to create an updated to support Vista later in 2007.

The program is made available on recordable-CDs. All modern CD-ROM drives are designed to read these CDs without problems.

Recommended requirements:
Pentium 750, 64 MB RAM (256 for Win XP), 24 x CD-ROM. For full install, approx. 300 MB disk spaceis required.
